Spice blend for Balinese dishes
Shallot (29.2%), garlic (19.1%), chili (15.5%), ginger, soy sauce, salt, vegetable oil
500g meat of your choice:
Chicken cut into parts
Beef sliced 1 cm thick
Egg hard boiled
Fish fried or marinate with garlic for 10 mins first
Tofu or Potato cubed, fried
3 tbsp oil. 1 red tomato, chopped. 150ml water.
Heat oil in a pan, stir fry Bamboe Balinese Dish for 1 min. Stir in chopped tomatoes and meat, stir fry for another 5 min. Add water (and sugar, if using). Simmer for 20 mins until sauce thickened.
