Spice Mix For Balinese Dish is a traditional spice paste from Indonesia used to prepare authentic Balinese dishes.
It is a blend of fresh ingredients such as shallots, garlic, chili, ginger, and other spices to replicate the rich flavors of Balinese cuisine. The paste can be easily used with meat, fish, vegetables, or tofu to achieve a spicy and slightly sweet taste.
Preparations:
500g meat of your choice:
Chicken cut into parts
Beef sliced 1 cm thick
Egg hard boiled
Fish fried or marinate with garlic for 10 mins first
Tofu or Potato cubed, fried
3 tbsp oil. 1 red tomato, chopped. 150ml water.
Heat oil in a pan, stir fry Bamboe Balinese Dish for 1 min. Stir in chopped tomatoes and meat, stir fry for another 5 min. Add water (and sugar, if using). Simmer for 20 mins until sauce thickened.
