How to prepare: Wash the ketupat bag as needed with clean running water. Put clean water as needed to boil the ketupat into the pot, if necessary add pandanus leaves to add aroma. Put the washed ketupat bags into the pot of clean water. The ketupat bag must be completely submerged. Boil the ketupat until it expands and is cooked for approximately 60-90 minutes. Add more water if the cooking water decreases. Remove and drain the ketupat. Ketupat is ready to be served.
