Description
A Cobek Batu Asli is a traditional Indonesian mortar, entirely hand-carved from genuine natural stone. Together with the matching pestle (Ulekan), it is used for grinding spices and herbs, and for the classic preparation of sambal pastes.
How to wash mortar, before first use:
* Soak in water for 1-2 hours
* Avoid detergent
* Wash the mortar with rice, make sure the mortar is dry, crush the rice with the pestle and rinse with warm water.
