Kalio Pasta Seasoning
Bumbu Kalio Rendang Gadih is a high-quality, natural instant seasoning mix from Indonesia, specially developed for preparing Kalio (a thicker precursor to Rendang). It consists of two components: seasoning paste and coconut oil, is free of flavor enhancers and preservatives, and is sufficient for 500–750 g of meat.

Serving Suggestion:
1. Boil meat (beef, chicken, fish) weighing 500g to 750g with 1.5 liters of water. Cover the pan when boiling and use medium heat.
2. After boiling, lift the lid of the pan and remove the foam on top.
3. After all the foam disappears, add the Spices into the pan and stir evenly.
4. Continue boiling the meat until tender (add 500ml water if you feel the meat is not yet tender). If the meat starts to become soft and the water has reduced, add the coconut oil and stir until evenly mixed.
5. Reduce the heat on the stove and continue to cook until the sauce is thick, reddish yellow and oily. Take the food, Kalio is ready to be served with warm white rice.
