Grilled Fish Cake
Otak-otak is a traditional Southeast Asian fish cake from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. It consists of a seasoned fish paste—usually mackerel—mixed with coconut milk, chili, herbs, and spices, wrapped in banana leaves and grilled or steamed. The dish has a soft, spongy texture, a smoky aroma, and is a popular snack.
